Here at old Cypress we are an ethical and responsible small breeder of quality AKC registered Cavaliers of champion pedigrees with an emphasis on health, temperament, and the classic beauty of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Our puppies are a part of our family first and then we pass them on to be a part of yours. We have 3 children who help in every aspect of our breeding program so that you may be assured that the puppy you get is child friendly. Our children range in age from 12 years to 1 year...you will see their pictures scattered throughout the website with puppies and of course THEIR dogs.

We believe in QUALITY and not quantity. For that reason we do not always have puppies available, but we do invite you to reserve a puppy. We have had many different breeds of dogs as pets and believe that none compare to the Cavalier. No matter your age or circumstance there is a Cavalier waiting to love you.

Because we believe in quality ALL of our breeding dogs are YEARLY certified for hearts, eyes, and patella. Our dogs go to board certified cardiologists, orthopedics and ophthalmologists to be certified and not our vet. We believe that these very important issues can all be missed by a general practitioner. Many breeders take their dogs to the vet and it is just not the same. As a breeder you have a responsibility to make sure you are breeding the healthiest dog that you can.

We were turned down by several breeders because we have children...Cavaliers and children make the best companions. We have made a solemn vow to never treat others like we have been treated. We found wonderful breeders willing to give us a chance to prove our love and devotion to this magnificent breed. We do only place our puppies in loving homes, but we will not make you feel in anyway unworthy of one of our pups.

Cavaliers were bred to be the ultimate companion and live solely to share their life with you, therefore let us help you find your new best friend.

About Us

One of the pups sneaking up  on Sonia.

Dallas our 14 yr old lab with Olivia . We just lost Dallas to old age at thanksgiving.   Thank you for everything you gave to us and you will be forever missed.

Resting after a hard day of chasing butterflys and grasshoppers.

Scooby Doo our 12 yr old Great Dane that we adopted as a yearling from Great Dane Rescue. He is still young at heart and adores all of the kids and Cavaliers.  Olivia thinks he makes the perfect nap mat...poor Scooby never complains.

Pictures coming soon of Zoe our lab rescue. John took the trash to the landfill and came home with a gorgeous little black lab mix puppy. Someone had put her in a trash can and thrown her away...can you imagine. She is now a family member of 4 years and has stolen the hearts of everyone. She is such a clown and can always be found perched on a table or bird bath...she honestly has no clue that she weighs 50lbs. She has also reminded us why we decided to raise cavs…lol she was a holy terror as a puppy.
